Complete automation in a single unit

The automation-friendly Data Matrix code on the bottom of storage tubes has been the standard for many years, greatly simplifying the handling of samples.
However, many users wish to mark the tubes with specific information and move away from time-consuming, unreliable methods of labeling.
LVL technologies developed the fully automated SAFE® Tube Laser Marker to meet this need.
This device allows tubes to be laser coded precisely and individually, improving sample handling and traceability.

Application

Maximum Flexibility and Compatibility

The TLM 864 can automatically laser-code SAFE® tubes in SBS 96, SBS 48, and SBS 24 formats from two sides and link the information to a database with the 2D code previously laser-etched during production.
Up to 500 tubes per hour can be coded from nine SBS/ANSI positions. The information to be applied is created and transmitted from an external PC.
The configuration of the device is done via an integrated touchscreen, enabling quick and efficient code customization to the lab’s specific requirements.
